Solcraft Montclair Sunrooms & Patios, montclairsunroomspatios.com, info@montclairsunroomspatios.com

Accepting these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or ask Solcraft Montclair Sunrooms & Patios for an estimate or a project. By browsing the site, filling out our form or calling us, you agree to them, so please read them before you reach out.

If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use the site. You can still call us at (909) 738-1507 and talk the job through before anything is decided.

What we do

We're a sunroom contractor based in Montclair, CA, and we design, build, enclose and remodel sunrooms, screen rooms, patio enclosures and patio covers for homes in Montclair and the cities around it. The home page lists our services, and our About page tells you more about who we are and how our crew works.

What's on this site is general information to help you plan. It isn't a quote or a promise about your house, because every yard, roofline and slab is different, and we only know what your job needs once we've seen it.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and obligation-free. We base each estimate on what we see on site and what you tell us you want, so it covers the work described in it and nothing more.

Prices can change if the scope changes, if you choose different materials, or if we open up the work and find conditions nobody could see before, like a cracked slab or rot in a ledger board, the board that ties the room to your house. When that happens, we'll explain what we found and what it costs before we go further, and we won't do the extra work until you agree to it in writing.

An estimate holds for the period written on it. After that, material and labor costs may have moved, so we may need to update it.

Scheduling and cancellation

We set start dates together once the contract is signed and any permits or materials the job needs are lined up. Weather, permit review, inspections and material delivery can push dates back, so any schedule we give is our best plan, not a guarantee.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, tell us as soon as you can by phone or through our Contact page. Your written contract explains your cancellation rights and any costs for materials already ordered or work already done, and you keep every cancellation right California law gives you.

Payment

Your written contract sets the payment schedule, the amounts due and the accepted ways to pay. We tie payments to work that's been done, so you're not paying far ahead of the progress on your project.

Final payment is due when the work in your contract is complete. If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's settled, and the contract explains any late charges.

Warranties and what this site doesn't promise

Any warranty on our work is the one written into your contract, and warranties on windows, panels, roofing and other products come from the companies that make them. We'll pass those product warranties along to you and help you use them.

The information on this website is offered as is. We work to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete, current or right for your particular house, and you shouldn't rely on it in place of an on-site estimate.

Limits on our liability

We're licensed and fully insured for the work we do. To the extent California law allows, Solcraft Montclair Sunrooms & Patios isn't responsible for indirect or consequential losses that come from using this website, or from delays caused by weather, permit offices, suppliers or other things outside our control.

Our responsibility for a project is set by your written contract. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under California law that can't be waived.

Settling a disagreement

If something about your project isn't right, call us first, because most problems get fixed fastest when we can come back out and look at them together. We'll listen, tell you what we can do, and follow up in writing if you'd like.

If we can't work it out between us, either side can take it to mediation or to a court with authority over the matter in California, unless your contract sets out a different process.

Which law applies

These terms, and any project we take on, are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal action goes to the courts of the county where the work was done, unless the law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the one that applies when you use the site. Changes won't alter a contract you've already signed, because that contract stays as written.

If you have a question about any of this, reach us through our Contact page or call (909) 738-1507, and we'll answer it plainly.
